I visited this sport's bar when I was in Michigan seeing family. They have a great selection of games and their food is terrific. I have had their burgers and their salads and the meat on the burgers was always very fresh and juicy. My cousins and I met up there and enjoyed the live music until very late in the night. They had plenty of TVs to enjoy the football games also. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I never once had to ask to have my drink refilled. If you are a golfer I suggest you try the golf simulator they have in the back. It is just like the real thing. If you are in the area I highly recommend Alberts on the Alley! It's a great place to meet up with your friends or your family.

Pizza!! Pizza! Pizza!! Yum....The Pizza here is really good, got a Large round pepperoni pizza while we were enjoying the company of friends and a few brews. Had a Black Cherry myself a St Patty's Day Fav of mine ( Guinness & Cherry Wheat). We were going to share one pizza but it was gone so fast another was ordered shortly after. I've been here a few times over the years, it's an old bowling alley turned pub, the Bar staff is super friendly, place is reasonably clean, prices were good, they have DJ and dancing at night and the place gets pretty full on the weekends. I've always had a good time here so if you are in the area stop on by to cut a rug or down a brew. As a note I was here in the afternoon for St Patty's day place was pretty empty although it was a Monday, the other times I've been here were weekend nights and it does get a little crazy. It did seem they don't have the place locked down at night and you could find yourself in some trouble if not careful. Younger crowd for sure and all the things that go with it. Pizza was 5 Stars Bartenders were 5 Stars on St Patty's day, 3 Stars the other times I've been Overall experience was a 3.5 on average of the 3 times I've been(one 5 star, one 4 Star and one 1 star experience), it's really hit and miss, I'll have to come back with the GF one night and give it another go. I'll update the review then but for now I'll go out on a limb and give 4 stars......don't disappoint.

Once again people...this is some of the best pizza around. I wish i were closer to Alberts so i could get takeout pizza from here on a semi regular basis. They do not disappoint!

We had a couple meetings here and it proved a very adequate place. Our waitress was very attentive and I never had to ask for a pop refill. The food tasted great and it was much better than what I expected from a sports bar. I had a cheeseburger and it was juicy and the bun was fresh. I gave this a five star review because not only was I happy with the food and service, my client was also.

Total overall experience... Awesome! Check them out! I definitely recommend this place for parties, big games on tv and the service is top notch!

They wouldn't let my husband in because he was wearing sweatpants...didn't realize there was a dress code. We drove pretty far to get here so I'm sad that he couldn't come in. :(

We visited Albert's on The Alley for a meeting and I have to admit I was pretty impressed. When our client suggested that we meet at a sport's bar to go over proposals and other items that would require a quiet and comfortable environment I was a skeptic. The customer is always right though, right? In this case they were. When we arrived we were seated in what appeared to be a VIP area that had comfortable leather couches and chairs surrounding various tables. The waitress promptly brought us our pop or soda or whatever you call it. It turned out to be a great location for a meeting. We had our meeting which lasted a bit over an hour and then we moved to a high-top table and had a late lunch. The service was great, never had to ask for a refill. The food was very good also. The owner Steve came by and said hello and asked if we needed anything. That is a nice touch. I gave this a 5 star review because I was just very impressed and a little shocked that a sport's bar could be so accommodating for a business meeting. There were some other neat features. They have a golf simulator that is nearly like playing the real thing. I highly recommend you give it a shot as a meeting venue.

I've only had steak bites and pizza here, but both were pretty good. If you sit outside, be prepared to listen to at least one drunk local screaming and yelling about license plates and proving that he knows every cuss word there is.

A few weeks ago we were up in Garden City visiting friends. We stopped in Alberts and were pleasantly surprised we did. Food was great, wait staff excellent and the simulated golf was a blast. I would encourage anyone in that area in need of fun or a good meal to stop in. I don't write a lot of reviews so believe me, this place is good!

I have yet to enjoy a 5 star experience from here, but if they tweaked a few things it would be easy for them to obtain a 5 star rating from almost every guest. . . The thing that turns me away is the cover charge, I live in a city where almost every bar has a cover charge. However, when I come to the burbs to dive bar hop, i'm not about to pay cover to get into any of these places. I do want to come at an earlier time maybe, and try their food, i hear nothing but good things about. Ive only been in once when they were not charging cover, i think it was a thursday night, seemed kind of slow... but the people were friendly, and the drinks were cheap. i just wish the place would stop trying to become a concert venue...

Food wasn't bad, neither were the drink prices but the clientele was bad. Locals seem to get in a lot of fights here and one person was stabbed and killed here. Google it. I don't go here any more because I do not feel safe. It's a bad area. Too bad too because the bar itself isn't bad.

Do not go here when they are busy. They are very slow, foods cold, and poor attitudes from staff. Had to go to bar to get a drink. No concern from mgmt when poor service was suggested. Will not be back here.

One of the few places around that can cook a burger to medium and medium rare. It sounds easy but no other restaurant bars around can ever seem to accomplish.

Good food...somewhat decent prices...HORRIBLE service! We walked out of there for the last time tonight.

This place used to be a bowling alley...so my wife resisted trying it for years. I finally got her to go last week (I've enjoyed it for years). We got the pizza, and she loved it (they even serve Guinness, our favorite beer). She liked it so much she wanted to go back this week. The staff is courteous, the food is good, and I even like the music. This place is a "Keeper".

I went on Saturday night around midnight. No DJ. No cover. No coat check. No problems there. Decently priced drinks. The food was...meh. My girlfriend and I ordered the sampler. Now, to me an $8.50 sampler is good for a two person nosh. We got three PLATES of stuff. Great portions. Taste was not cool. Yet, its a bar, not a steakhouse. The music was a mix of dance and pop stuff. The wait staff was not dressed as skanky as some have made it seem. (I refuse to acknowledge this as a complaint or a compliment towards the establishment reviewed.) Waitress was nice but, seemed overworked. The have a small dance floor, full bar, food as mentioned, pool tables, and a good amount of drunk college kids. The atmosphere is intense.... The club kept setting off a siren sound of sorts. It made me a bit nervous. I've yet to find out what that siren is all about, but if the youngsters dig it, let them dig it! At 27, I'm still hip.

I have to say that since the time of my first review, Albert's has done some good things to fix what was broken. First off, the waitresses that we have been served by have taken a 180º turn in terms of attitude. They are much nicer and I feel that they do appreciate my business. Thank you for that! You don't need to kiss my butt and flirt with me to get a good tip (but my ego will allow it and bask in your good taste in men... ) The menu has turned around as well. Nightly specials on a printed menu insert have a lot of good choices that go well beyond typical bar fare. The soups have been hit and miss, but I like to try new things so if something sounds interesting I try it. I will say that the soups I've tried, I've had more hits than misses to be sure. I tried their lobster bisque the other night. It had a good flavor. I don't think that they made it from scratch the way I would at home, but with a slice of bread it made a nice snack. The beer selection always has something interesting to offer. I gravitate toward pale ales, brown ales and anything hoppy with a nice malt balance. I have to say that the selection of craft brews along with the standard domestic lagers always has something to please the palate. If you haven't been to Albert's in a while, check em out.

As the legendary comic book man once said, "Worst place on Earth". The crappiest experience I've had at a service bastion in over 5 years. Waitress was horrendous, Matt Millen managed better than these "managers", the food was horrible, and they couldn't even get the beer right. The beer was skunk so I asked for a replacement pitcher and was charged for both! Un-frickin believable. And it wasn't like they didn't know how terrible they were because they stated it, but they just didn't really do anything about it nor seem to care. Those of you Frankie's wanna-be's that go to this dump deserve everything you get there and the Loyal GC-Westland Wings/Tigers crowd that buy into this concept should know that this is not the place for you---you'd do better going to a walgreen's parking lot, grabbing a 40, and listening to the game on the radio!!!

Saturday night...why not. $3 cover for a band, MANDATORY coat check...I tried to argue about checking my coat with the guy at the door and he said to me "most people just pay it, only some people bitch about it" and "if you don't want to check it, take it back to your car." Mind you, dear Yelpers, it was 9 degrees out. Ah, well, we were meeting friends and the booze is cheap enough...so I shelled out the dough... Oh the cover band proceeded to suck. Really, really suck. I don't know their name, but I will find out so no one else goes through what I went through. The mostly absent waitress forgot my drink when she brought everyone else theirs...but in her defense, I suppose it was busy. We ended up leaving and going to Renee's. The karaoke was music to my ears after that band!

Another Friday night trying to figure something to do out here. I previously heard about this place through Nay & my buddy Mike brought it up so we went. Just nothing major to report, people seemed to be having a good time & it was not super packed. Other than that it was just another bar to me playing sh*tty rap song fueling drunken stumblin on the dance floor. I will say their security was ON it, something I do appreciate after reading about a fellow yelper (a girl) getting punched in the head @ a similar type venue in Wyandotte. I'll give it another go but it was honestly a bellow average night out... Now later on my buddy took me to sub 'heaven' !!!

What can I say about Alberts? Not much. The drinks are reasonably priced and I liked the fact that they had Michigan based Bells Brewery beer on tap. The food is average. The waitstaff are dressed pretty skimpy but a lot of the girls look waaay to young to work there and service is ALWAYS so slow that I usually have to go to bar to get my own drinks. I understand that the bar is not responsible for the kinds of people that usually hang out there, but it IS a huge deterrent.Everywhere you look is either red necks or Ed Hardy. The night I went the cover band was terrible, talented -but most of the songs they covered weren't very good. One night I went, there was a family (kids and all) chowing down, and the parents kept shooting us dirty looks because we were having an adult discussion and didn't censor what we were saying. HELLO, it's after midnight and you have your kids in a BAR with skimpily dressed waitresses, kindly pick somewhere else or better yet, why the hell were they allowed to come in with children in the first place??? I prefer my bars not to have children in them, with good music -not all Kid Rock and Lady Gaga-, polite or at the very least attentive waitstaff. That's all I'm asking for, oh yeah and to be able to have a good time. If you like loud bars full of D-bags, hang out at Alberts.

This was my FIRST and LAST time visiting this establishment. One of the bouncers there was mistreating me and making up some rule where you couldn't stand on the dance floor unless you were dancing with a girl. I also observed a patron getting punched in the face and the bouncer there did nothing to stop the assailant. The cops were called shortly after the crime was committed and they also did nothing. The bouncer there was a thug and was antagonizing the patrons. Mentally he is not cut out to hold this position of authority and should be removed.

Went there one night to meet up with a friend. Didn't really know anything about it or that there were even any bars like this in Garden City. One of my friends knew our waitress so service was good. The place is pretty big, and I wasn't expecting a dance floor when I came in. The DJ played a lot of the same songs over and over again. I don't know how many times I heard Ludacris's "How Low Can You Go" song. Overall, it was ok.
